Feeling a little down in the dumps? Stressing about school and the
million other things going on in your life? Take a moment for yourself and do
one, two or a few of these things for a pick-me-up!
1. Call your
mom/dad/grandma/grandpa/brother/sister/friend.
2. Do
jumping jacks.
3. Listen to
your favorite song/artist/album/playlist.
4. Go
outside.
5. Play an
instrument or sing.
6. If you
can’t play an instrument or sing, watch someone play an instrument or sing.
7. Dress up.
8. Make
plans with a friend you haven’t seen in a while.
9. Eat a
piece of chocolate.
10. Stretch.
11. Do that
thing you have been avoiding.
12. Drink
water – and a lot of it.
13. Act
graceful.
14. Act
graceless.
15. Laugh
off things and/or people that irritate you.
16. Take a
ridiculously long shower.
17. Watch
your favorite comedy, movie or T.V. show.
18. Journal.
19. Give
someone you love a hug.
20. Clean
and organize your living space.
21. Wear a
bright color.
22. Don’t
take the bus; walk.
23. Smile.
24. Cook
something.
25. Make a
list of 25 things that make you feel better – and do them!
