What's Happening? | Maggie Knisley

Hey fellow SSPers! I hope everyone is having a great spring quarter and enjoying the warmer weather! There are some great events around campus this week to get you out of your room to enjoy the great spring air.

On Monday, OUAB Presents E! Sensation Giuliana Rancic. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the event starts at 7 PM at the Performance Hall in the Ohio Union. Guiliana will be talking about her career on E! and her fight against breast cancer. Be sure to get a ticket at the Union if you are interested in going. The Undergraduate Research Office is presenting a seminar called Research with Human Subjects: IRB Training for Undergraduates on Tuesday night in 160 Jennings Hall at 5 PM. This will teach attendees about the Institutional Review Board ad and how to get IRB approval for research involving human subjects. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in doing research within the field of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

On Wednesday Night OUAB is showing the movie My Week with Marilyn for the weekly Flicks for Free Series. The movie starts at 6 PM and is showing in the US Bank Conference Theatre. Also, on Wednesday, the Men’s Baseball team plays Akron at 6:35 PM and the Women’s Softball team plays Dayton at 6:00 PM. The Men’s Baseball team also plays on Friday at 6:35 PM against Nebraska.
