Emergencies in Residence Halls | Hannah Chenetski

Even though it’s so close to the end of the year and hopefully no one will need to know this information, in light of recent events I feel that it needs to be addressed. In case of any sort of medical emergency of a fellow resident, do the following:

• Try to find your RA first. 
• Stay calm! If you’re calm, the person who is hurt will likely stay more calm as well. 
• Do not under any circumstances try to call 911, it will take forever!! Call the OSU Medical Center ER, especially since they are right down the street from us. 
• Try to figure out what is wrong before the ambulance gets there so that you can properly direct them to the problem.
