What's Happening? | Maggie Knisley



Welcome back everyone! I hope everyone had a great spring break. Things are back in full swing here on campus and there are many exciting events that you can attend this week while your workload is still light. 
OUAB has events all week long starting with OUABe Glad Day in the Great Hall Meeting Room from 12pm – 4pm. This event is meant to be relaxing and pampering for students and features everything from aqua massages to hair cuts from Paul Mitchell professionals for free! All you need to do to get in is present you BuckID and prepare yourself for a soothing event. While you are at the Union on Monday be sure to get your ticket for the Buckeyethon Benefit Concert Featuring J Cole! Tickets cost $10 and go on sale at 5pm. Also on Monday is the OUAB event One Day It’ll Make Sense with Common at 6:30pm in the Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom. This event features the Grammy award winning artist, actor, and author Common who will be talking about his inspirational journey in how hip hop has positively influenced his life. Doors open at 5:30 and if you are interested be sure to pick up a ticket from the D-Tix desk. 
There are more great OUAB events on Wednesday including the ticket release for Childish Gambino Camp Tour. Childish Gambino is an up and coming rapper who will be performing on May 7th at the LC Pavilion. Tickets are free and go on sale at 5:00pm at the Union. Also on Wednesday is the Flick for Free Featuring: The Woman in Black event at 6 and 8:30pm in the US Bank Conference Theatre. The movie features Daniel Radcliffe (AKA Harry Potter!) as a lawyer who discovers the presence of a terrifying ghost in a small village.
