What’s Happening? | Maggie Knisley




Hey everyone! Be sure to take check out some of these great events happening around campus this week.
                  On Monday night, OUAB presents An Evening with Ross Mathews at 7:00 PM in the Performance Hall of the Ohio Union. Ross Mathews started his career on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and is now a regular on the E! talk-show with Chelsea Lately. Tickets are required for entry so if you are interested be sure to pick one up at the ticket desk located inside the Union. The following day, Tuesday the 15th, our great Men’s Baseball team takes on Toledo at 12:05 PM. So if you do not have class, be sure to go to the game to support our Buckeyes.  This week, the featured movie for the Flicks for Free event series is The Vow. The movie is being shown at 6 PM and 8:30 PM in the US Bank Conference Theater in the Union.
                  Thursday night is Cupcake Craft Night, where you can frost and decorate your very own cupcake! The event is from 5-7 PM in the lower level of the Union. If you are interested, make sure you bring your BuckID because it is required for participation! On Friday is the Center for Historical Research Seminar: Health, Disease, and Environment in World History. The seminar focuses on the Historical Epidemiology of African Malaria including the changes in the disease itself as well as the changes in the research and study of malaria. It takes place in Cunz 140 from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.
