Packing for the New York Trip | Anna Meyer

The New York trip is coming up soon and many of us, with our busy schedules, may not have much time to think about what to pack. However, with two long bus rides and three whole days in New York, it is very important to pack all of the necessities! This article will help you think about some important items to pack for the trip!
Through my experience with long bus rides I have learned that you can very quickly and easily become uncomfortable. You must consider that on the bus ride to New York it will be very beneficial to sleep a lot so that you have enough energy to explore the next day! Bring a pillow and blanket that are comfortable and large enough for you to sleep with.
Another important decision is deciding what to wear. First, it is important to think about what the weather will be like. As of today, May 18, 2012, the weekend’s weather forecast is for sunny on Friday with a high of 72 degrees, sunny on Saturday with a high of 74 degrees and finally sunny on Sunday with a high of 80 degrees! Second, you will likely be doing a lot of walking so think about bringing an umbrella. Also, bring shoes that are comfortable for walking. Finally, we will be attending the Broadway show Chicago, so you may consider bringing a special outfit for the show!
Other important items that everyone should bring on this trip include a camera, money, and snacks for the hotel and the bus ride. Remember that you will be responsible for paying for most of your meals, which can be very expensive in New York. In addition, you might want to do some shopping and other sight-seeing which could also cost you some extra money!
